Job summary

The State of Ohio's Rehabilitation and Correction agency seeks a Human Services Program Administrator 2 to lead statewide Community Corrections Programs and develop standards and audit schedules. The role requires coordinating training, supervising staff, and ensuring program compliance with budgets and objectives.

Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science, pre-medicine or public or business administration or accounting.
• 18 mos. exp. in delivery of human services or medical assistance in governmental, community or private human support services agency or medical provider or review of such services for cost containment/budget planning.
• 6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plans, evaluates and directs statewide Community Corrections Programs.
• Develops and maintains state standards & administrative rules.
• Assists Community Correction/Parole Program Specialists in developing statewide program audit schedules and assists with audits.
• Keeps informed of policy and procedure changes at State level.
• Develops a comprehensive quality assurance plan for the Bureau of Community Sanctions.
• Conducts on site observations of auditors during interactions with grant funded programs and provides feedback and coaching.
• Provides recommendation to Bureau Chief to assist in annual training planning.
• Analyzes audit score trends to determine training needs and adjust scoring language.
• Monitors program compliance to contract objectives and reports.
• Prepares annual reports and assists in budget preparation.
