Job summary

Washington County is seeking a Community Corrections Case Monitor in Oregon. The role provides basic administrative case management support for Probation and Parole Officers during intake and pre-sentence steps.

Responsibilities include pre-screening JIIs, recording social history data, and handling routine information requests. Strong organization, teamwork, and communication are essential; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Social Services, or related field can substitute for the required experience.
• Associate degree + 1 year of experience in corrections, criminal justice, counseling, or related social services field.
• Three years of experience in corrections, criminal justice, or counseling of adult justice involved individuals, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing justice-involved individuals (JIIs) intakes by pre-screening and conducting basic initial interviews as JIIs are referred to the department for supervision or pre-sentence investigation.
• Record and update basic social history information in database records.
• Process routine transactions and requests for information.
