Job Summary

At AvalonBay Communities, we don’t just manage properties; we pioneer exceptional living experiences. We are looking for a Concierge who will lead our front‑desk team, set new standards for quality, and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of AvalonBay, welcoming new prospects and current residents.
• Manage front‑desk operations, monitor foot traffic, and provide top‑notch customer service.
• Implement programs to address resident satisfaction while maintaining company standards.
• Act as a point of contact, offering assistance, information, and personalized recommendations.
• Partner with the leasing and maintenance teams to create a seamless move‑in/move‑out and resident experience.

• Ability to tackle new problems and see them through until completion.
• Strong communication skills, both in‑person and over the phone.
• Time‑management skills, juggling multiple tasks with composure and positivity.
• Patience and poise to deliver excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and prospects.
• Organization, keeping phone messages, resident packages, and maintenance requests managed efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• 1+ years of related experience in hospitality, retail, or restaurant preferred.
• Proficiency in administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mobility to walk the property and maneuver packages/deliveries.

Schedule

Part‑time; Saturday and Sunday, 3pm‑11pm. Other part‑time opportunities are available.
