InReach is seeking a Community Coach I for a full-time role based in Charlotte, NC. You will support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in community activities, in home or work settings, and in the surrounding areas.

The position involves working 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with duties including one-on-one or small group support, documentation, transportation, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Competitive benefits and mileage reimbursement are offered.

Competenze

• One year of experience with I/DD and special populations.

Mansioni

• Work one-on-one or with small groups to provide support to customers for activities in the Charlotte area.
• Documentation of daily activities.
• Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, and help with socialization.
• Oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan.
• Maintain the health and safety of everyone.
• Provide reliable transportation.
• Maintains credentials (training).
• Assure confidentiality.
