Job summary

RMS Companies in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Porter to perform daily cleaning of common areas in our new residential building. You will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and restock supplies, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance concerns, keeping spaces neat, and recording work times. Weekend availability is required, and staying physically able to lift up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or maintenance roles is preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Candidate must be able to work at least one weekend day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of common areas including dust, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Keep building spaces neat and orderly, including parking areas.
• Perform building walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs.
• Record time accurately and follow directions from the Property Manager.
