Job Summary/Basic Function

To provide case management services and prevention education in the areas of substance abuse, mental health, and wellness to college students at WSU and Central State University and make referrals for treatment services as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education or social/behavioral science or other science field.
  • At least six months experience (paid, internship, or volunteer) in a community setting providing any type of case management, educational, or support services.
  • A valid clinical license or certification may replace the degree if the applicant has at least three years' experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of substance abuse risk
  • Recent experience working with college students or other young adults

Essential Functions And Percent Of Time

Conduct small and large group education sessions. 40%

Provide case management services to enrolled participants. 20%

Recruit participants for the grant program. 20%

Conduct intake and follow-up interviews with recruited participants and document all activities and information collected. 20%

Working Conditions

Local travel required. Length of appointment is one year, annually renewable, contingent on grant funding. Special Contract terms and conditions of employment apply.
