You will wear many hats, from advocate to coach, while helping clients achieve their goals. The position offers full-time third shift hours, a meaningful care environment, and opportunities to develop essential skills in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Conflict resolution and communication skills preferred.
• Some computer skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain good attendance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Accompany people to work, the movies, concerts, shopping, and other community outings.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Provide transportation to appointments.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Promote decision-making about living, work, and social relationships.
• Assist with personal care and household tasks (laundry, cleaning, etc.).
• Document the care you provide and educate on rights.
• Understand diverse challenges and advocate effectively for individuals.
• Connect people with resources for career, education, volunteering, etc.
• Promote effective communication.
