Job summary

Sevita’s Edgewood Home Charleston, SC site seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee service delivery for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll implement ISP plans, hire and train staff, schedule shifts, and supervise a team of caregivers providing daily support, meals, medication assistance, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
One year of related work experience.
Must be 18 years or older.
Current SC driver's license.
Other licensure or certification as required by regulatory authority.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport.
Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
Provide support to individuals receiving services including daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
Duties are split between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities.
