Job summary

North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is seeking a Care Coordinator to screen individuals with mental health needs at the Heights Domestic Violence Shelter, coordinating care across NTBHA and community partners.

The role requires trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services, with travel across the NTBHA catchment and after-hours availability. A bachelor’s degree is required; master’s preferred, with relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• One or more years of direct care experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
• Experience participating on a treatment team that develops and monitors treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Support referrals, documentation, and reporting under supervision.
• Work autonomously while adhering to rules, policies, and procedures.
• Create and maintain records, files, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with internal departments, law enforcement, hospitals, and community agencies.
