The Outreach Team is hiring Community Canvassers and Team Leaders in Lansing, MI to drive progressive outreach and voter engagement. The role involves door-to-door canvassing, leading small teams, and delivering a compelling campaign message in person.

Team Leaders earn $24/hour and Canvassers $22/hour, with bonuses, overtime, and referral incentives. Bilingual speakers may receive an additional $2 per hour. Training is provided and safety protocols are followed.

• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically and debriefing at day end.
• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful.
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work.

Community Canvassers and Team Leaders

Hiring Immediately - $22-24/hr + bonuses
Full-time & Part-time

This campaign is a coordinated campaign to elect progressive candidates in several key districts. We are excited to be working with the Natural Resource Defense Council to ensure that we elect representatives who will fight for a better future for all of us. Our team is connecting directly with voters on the ground through door-to-door outreach. We will be supporting candidates who champion progressive values and our shared vision for the future, encouraging people to get out and vote for progressive leaders down the ticket.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $22/hour. Team Lead positions start at $24/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. If you are a fluent bilingual speaker, you may earn an additional $2 per hour.

Locations: Tucson, and Flagstaff AZ. Lansing, MI. Harrisburg, PA. La Crosse, WI

• Paid training at $20/hr for the first 3 days
