The Outreach Team is hiring Community Canvassers and Team Leaders in Tucson, AZ and Scottsdale, AZ. Hiring is immediate for full-time and part-time roles with pay at $22–$24 per hour plus bonuses, overtime, paid training, sick pay, and referral bonuses. Roles run through July 31 with potential for advancement.

Shifts run 12:30–8:30 p.m. in Tucson and 12:00–7:00 p.m. in Scottsdale; part-time or full-time work is available. Fluency in Spanish adds an extra $2/hour.

Community Canvassers and Team Leaders

Hiring Immediately; $22–24/hr + bonuses

Full-time & Part-time

Access to reproductive healthcare is under attack like never before. We need canvassers to join us as we go door to door, talk with constituents about what’s at stake, and how they can take action to defend and protect Planned Parenthood in their communities.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Canvassing positions start at $22/hour. Team Lead positions start at $24/hour. We offer overtime pay, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. If you are a fluent Spanish speaker, you may earn an additional $2 per hour.

Locations:

Tucson, AZ; Scottsdale, AZ

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through July 31st with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 12:30–8:30 p.m. in Tucson and 12:00–7:00 p.m. in Scottsdale, Tuesday–Sunday, with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

• The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day
• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

The ideal candidate:

• Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy
• Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
• Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
• Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills
• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required
