Job summary

The Outreach Team in Nebraska is hiring canvassers and team leaders to engage voters and support Dan Osborn's Senate campaign. Positions include paid training and local shifts in Omaha and Lincoln, with immediate start and options for full-time or part-time work.

Canvassers earn $22/hour with paid training at $18/hour for the first 3 days; Team Leaders start at $24/hour. Overtime, bonuses, and referral bonuses are available. Shifts run 11:45am–8pm weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for Canvassers to build support in the community for Dan Osborn for Senate in Nebraska's upcoming election. If you believe that real political power is built from the ground up through deep organizing and face-to-face conversations, we want you on our team in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.

Get paid well!

Canvassing positions start at $22/hour, Paid training at $18/hr for first 3 days. Team Lead positions start at $24hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Locations

Our main offices are in Omaha, Lincoln, Fremont, Gretna, Nebraska City, Beatrice, Seward, and Grand Island but we are willing to hire experienced canvassers to work in other locations.

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through 11/3/26 with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 11:45am - 8pm weekdays and weekends with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

Canvasser Responsibilities ($22/hr):

• Paid training at $18/hr for first 3 days

• Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters


• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills


• Follow the campaign's safety protocols

Team Leader Responsibilities ($24/hr):

• The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:


• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day


• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful


• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

The ideal candidate:

• Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy


• Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone


• Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible


• Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills


• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community


• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required.
