The Outreach Team in Nebraska is hiring Community Canvassers and Team Leaders for immediate openings in Omaha and Lincoln. Earn $25–$26/hr plus bonuses, with both full-time and part-time roles available. Join us for porch-to-porch conversations, building support for the campaign across the state.

Paid training starts at $20/hr for the first 3 days; Team Leads start at $26/hr. Overtime, bonuses for referrals, and other perks are included.

• Ensure canvassers have materials and assist training and admin tasks.

Community Canvassers and Team Leaders

We are looking for Canvassers to build support in the community for Dan Osborn for Senate in Nebraska's upcoming election. If you believe that real political power is built from the ground up through deep organizing and face-to-face conversations, we want you on our team in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $25/hour, Paid training at $20/hr for first 3 days. Team Lead positions start at $26 hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Locations

Our main offices are in Omaha, Lincoln, Fremont, Gretna, Nebraska City, Beatrice, Seward, and Grand Island but we are willing to hire experienced canvassers to work in other locations.

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through 11/3/26 with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 11:45am - 8pm weekdays and weekends with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

• Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner
• Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
• Follow the campaigns safety protocols
• The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day
• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

The ideal candidate:

• Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy
• Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
• Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
• Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills
• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required.
