Job summary

The Outreach Team is hiring a Community Canvasser in Tucson, AZ to join a partner campaign advancing reproductive freedom. You'll engage with the public, share campaign messaging, and collect survey responses in a door-to-door effort.

Shifts run 11:45AM–7:30PM Tue–Sun, part-time or full-time through November 3. Pay starts at $22/hour, team leads at $24/hour, with overtime, bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and referral bonuses; fluent bilingual speakers may earn an extra $2/hour.

Community Canvasser

Hiring Immediately - $22-24/hr + bonuses Full-time & Part-time

Join the fight for reproductive freedom in your community! We’re partnering with Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America) and their partners who are working every day to fight for reproductive freedom and debunk disinformation. Our campaign will be going door to door to educate the voters on the state of reproductive rights in Arizona.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Get paid well! Canvassing positions start at $22/hour. Team Lead positions start at $24/hour. We offer overtime pay, daily bonuses, paid training (at $20/hour), sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. If you are a fluent bilingual speaker, you may earn an additional $2 per hour.

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through November 3 with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 11:45AM - 7:30PM Tuesday - Sunday with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

• The Canvasser Responsibilities plus:
• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day
• Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be successful
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

The ideal candidate:

• Passionate about reproductive freedom and fostering democracy
• Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone
• Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible
• Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills
• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
• Strong preference for staff who have a current drivers license, and insured personal vehicle, but not required.
• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required
