Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist (contingent) in Rockford, IL to provide advocacy and mental health services to youth and families under supervision. This role involves delivering individual, group, and family services and coordinating with partners to support safe, stable community living.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work or related field, with 2 years direct youth and family experience preferred; licensure

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• License preferred: LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or LMSW, or license-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports and advances the organization's mission and values.
• Provides individual, group, and family mental health services and case management.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services with youth and families.
• Completes required documentation and trainings in a timely manner.
