WellPower in Denver is seeking an Employment Specialist II/III to support rehabilitation activities and assist clients with work adjustment training, job search and placement, and skill training for community employment. The role coordinates services, builds community jobs with employers, and partners with outside agencies to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities include vocational assessments, eligibility determinations, employer coaching, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in rehabilitation or related field.
• Master's degree in vocational rehabilitation or related field; with one year of experience in a vocational rehabilitation setting or related duties is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop competitive community jobs and skill-building activities to attain employment.
• Provide vocational assessments to help people served succeed in jobs.
• Identify programs and eligibility to ensure access for people served.
• Coach people served with employers and provide interventions.
• Research and develop community contacts to assist with job placements.
• Complete reporting pertaining to program measurements.
• Coordinate with clinical teams regarding vocational objectives.
• Find employment for diverse populations with serious mental illness.
• Work in the community 60% of the time.
