Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Akron, OH seeks an experienced clinician to provide therapy to diverse clients. You will conduct scheduled patient visits, update treatment plans, and document progress notes while coordinating with case management and psychiatric teams. Travel within the service area is required, and licensure as LSW/LISW/LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, or LIMFT is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field with one year of therapy experience, or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Social Work/LISW/LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LIMFT, LPCC-S or equivalent license.
• Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Experience in a home setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up regarding the client's status as needed.
• Working collaboratively with case management and psychiatric services.

• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
• Working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, LIMFT-S
• Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Experience within a home setting is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
