Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Community-Based/Day Program Therapist to support children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities and trauma. You will perform diagnostic assessments, conduct patient visits and ensure up-to-date treatment plans.

The role requires a Social Work or Counseling degree and an active license (LSW/LISW/LPC/LPCC/MFT). Travel within the service area is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, LIMFT-S

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Provide patient visits as scheduled.
Ensure treatment plans are up to date for each client.
Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
Communicate and follow up regarding the client's status.
Work collaboratively with case management and/or psychiatric services.

Responsibilities may include:

Performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Providing patient visits as scheduled.
Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
Working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Requirements for this position include:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, LIMFT-S
Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
Experience within a home setting is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
