Job summary

The Arc Erie County NY is seeking a Community-Based Supervisor to mentor and guide individuals with developmental disabilities, either one‑on‑one or in small groups, in a community enclave setting. You’ll model productive work habits, support daily routines and ensure adherence to contract standards.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Human Services or a high school diploma with one year of relevant experience, plus a valid NYS driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Human Services or a high school diploma with 1 year of full‑time experience in training others.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and approved driving record.
• Starting wage of $20.16 per hour; room for advancement and on‑the‑job training.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and assisting individuals in developing social skills, work skills and work habits in a community-based enclave setting.
• Orienting individuals to new work settings, routines, production demands, quality standards, breaks, lunches and use of equipment.
• Monitor quantity and quality of work to ensure conformance with customer contract standards.
