Clarvida is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, supporting adults with severe mental illness who are also experiencing substance use challenges. In this role, you will provide integrated, recovery-oriented substance use services while working as part of a multidisciplinary ACT team.

ACT services are delivered directly in the community—client homes, places of employment, and other local settings to support stability, recovery, and long-term

Qualificações

• Must hold active Louisiana licensure (LPC/LCSW/LPC-S/LAC/LMSW/PLPC).
• Minimum of two years of professional experience with severe mental illness.
• Experience with substance use disorders preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substance use assessments and evaluations.
• Deliver individual and family counseling services.
• Provide case management aligned with treatment plans.
• Support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Link clients to community resources.
• Collaborate with ACT team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
