Compass Counseling Services of NOVA is seeking master’s level mental health therapists to join our Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Program in Virginia. The role focuses on youth aged 11–17 and families, delivering evidence-based, data-driven services within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, or Human Services is required.
• Valid driver's license with at least 1 year driving history and a good driving record; availability in afternoons and evenings.
• Preferred: Virginia residency eligibility; Spanish-speaking; experience collaborating with community agencies and delivering in-home/community-based services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment following MST principles, emphasizing strengths and gradual behavior change.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client and family strengths, concerns, and ecological factors to guide case conceptualization.
• Collaborate with diverse client populations and families to support engagement and progress.
• Coordinate with caregivers, supports, schools, probation, and child welfare for change-focused treatment.
• Participate in weekly case planning and supervision, and pursue MST training and professional development.
• Ensure clients have access to 24/7 crisis support in coordination with the clinical team.
