Job summary

Btstservices is seeking a Community Support Specialist to deliver direct mental health case management to adults 18+ in Maryland. You will connect clients with housing, entitlements, and social supports to support recovery and independence while upholding COMAR regulations across services.

The role requires strong communication, documentation in an EMR, and coordination of family meetings with attention to monthly billing and care planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in behavioral health is preferred.
• Experience in providing services to clients with emotional and behavioral disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person case management to adults 18+ with serious mental health disorders.
• Link clients to housing, entitlements, and social supports.
• Ensure access to care and complete initial and ongoing assessments and plans of care.
• Coordinate family meetings and document in the EHR; handle monthly billing requirements.
