Deborah's Place in Chicago seeks a Lead Case Manager to oversee Community Based Services, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with HUD, CoC, and funder requirements. The role focuses on housing, income, and health outcomes for clients, with strong emphasis on data quality and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities include crisis intervention, staff development, and collaboration with tenants to prevent evictions, while managing petty cash and resources for the team.
This position is responsible for management and administration of day to day operations of the community based services program including: management and support of case management services; management of record keeping and data quality, supervision of assigned staff and interns, and compliance with all agency and funder requirements.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field. Master degree preferred.
Professional Licensure in the State of Illinois (LSW, LCSW, LCPC) or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 2 years of case management or social service experience. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of issues surrounding homelessness, mental illness and substance use; proficiency in Microsoft office software, effective oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, conflict management and crisis intervention skills; demonstrate clear and professional boundaries; act in a professional manner; Valid Illinois driver's license, proof of insurance and own transportation required.
