Job summary

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a Part-time Job Coach to provide training and support to people with disabilities in Grant, Huntington, and Wabash counties. The role requires 20 hours per week with flexible day/evening shifts.

You will build relationships with community employers, help clients leverage strengths to find employment, and transport when needed. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; experience with disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of continuous and verifiable work within the past 2 years.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement coaching strategies to help person served overcome employment challenges.
• Identify strengths to help secure employment.
• Build relationships with community employers.
• Provide transportation as necessary.
• Teach work behaviors and interpersonal skills.
• Daytime availability required.
• Counties covered: Grant, Huntington, and Wabash.
• Other duties as assigned.
