Job summary

Options for Southern Oregon seeks a Jail Diversion Case Manager/Skills Trainer to provide recovery-focused services for individuals with serious mental illness. The role uses jail in-reach strategies and community supports, actively engaging partner agencies and guiding clients into needed services and treatment plans.

You will teach life skills, coordinate access to resources, and implement client plans, with traveling between sites and transportation of clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be a QMHA on MHACBO registry or eligible to register.
• Must pass state and law enforcement background checks and have a valid OR driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in accessing community resources and develop transition plans.
• Coordinate jail diversion and other program services; liaison with partners.
• Teach life skills (money management, self-regulation, interpersonal skills) and assist with transportation.
• Manage caseload and drive to multiple sites as required.
