Job summary

Denise Louie Education Center in Seattle is seeking a Home Visitor to conduct family home visits and deliver high-quality early childhood activities, parenting education, health, and family support services.

The role emphasizes building strong parent-child relationships, screening and referrals, and collaboration with the EHS Support Team. Starting pay range is $28.89–$33.18 hourly, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CDA, A.A. or B.A required with focus on Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum one year of professional experience working with children and families.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in Amharic, Tigrinya, Cantonese, or Spanish preferred.
• Washington State Driver's License with daily access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine family home visits and foster positive parent-child relationships.
• Provide early childhood education, parenting education, health, and family support services.
• Complete screenings, set goals, and coordinate with the EHS Support Team and consultants.
• Promote home language and culture, maintain confidentiality, and document appropriately.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and community outreach to engage families.
