Job summary

Arc Human Services in Washington, PA is hiring three PRN Community Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals in home and community settings. Hours vary from Monday to Friday 8–4, with potential evenings or weekends based on client placement and program needs.

The DSPs provide personal care assistance, job coaching, skills development, and community engagement, collaborating with families, clinicians, and employers to promote independence and successful competitive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least one year of experience with individuals with exceptional needs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants, families, staff and external partners.
• Experience in home/community-based or vocational settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to individuals in home and community settings to promote independence and community integration.
• Offer hands-on job coaching, training and employment support to develop daily living, social and job readiness skills.
• Collaborate with families, behavioral specialists, employers and outside agencies to achieve personal, social and employment goals.
