Job summary

Arc Human Services in Canonsburg, PA, is seeking a Community Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals in home and community settings. This part-time role runs Monday–Friday 9:00 am–1:00 pm, with a focus on independence, daily living skills, and employment readiness.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to help participants reach personal, social, and job goals. A High School diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience are required; PA driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 1 year of experience with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability, including home/community or vocational settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to individuals in home and community settings.
• Promote independence, community integration and participation in competitive and small group employment.
• Assist with personal care, facilitate community engagement, and provide hands-on job coaching and employment support.
