Job summary

Green Lake County is seeking a Clinical Therapist to provide community-based mental health and substance use services for individuals and families. You will conduct assessments, deliver individual and group treatment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, state licensure or eligibility, and 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience. Candidates must be able to drive and work in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family, or related field.
• 3,000 hours post-master’s clinical supervision with at least 1,000 hours supervised post-degree clinical experience with chronically mentally ill persons (preferred).
• Licensed or eligible to apply as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor (Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, CAPSW, etc., or licensed in Wisconsin).
• Certified/certifiable medical assistance provider in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Providing assessment and treatment of children, families, and adults.
• Provides individual and group treatment opportunities.
• Collaborates with psychiatrist, crisis team, and community-based staff as part of a treatment team.
• Coordinates services within the Department of Health & Human Services and with outside agencies.
• Provides crisis counseling, crisis intervention and participates in 24-hour on-call crisis team.
• Maintains behavioral health charts and uses the electronic health record.
• Attends staffings, in-services, supervision and trainings.
• May assist with client contacts in the community (home visits, team meetings, and group activities).
