Job summary

Clinica in Colorado is seeking a compassionate aide to support individuals in crisis, helping manage emotions and daily routines while guiding caregivers to community resources.

Responsibilities include goal development in personalized plans, medication administration, and facilitating access to services. Evening and weekend hours are required, with travel across Boulder/Broomfield Counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a human service field required.
• Must be 21 years old, have a safe driving record and a Colorado driver’s license, and be able to travel within Boulder and Broomfield Counties.

• Promote and demonstrate the organization’s mission and values.
• Participate in program and process improvements.
• Work evening and weekend hours.

• Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $27.93 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Job Summary:

You will support the individual to utilize skills that focus on coping with crisis, managing emotions, improving relationships, and maintaining daily routine and activities of daily living. You will also support caregivers to help identify and connect to community resources.

• Assist in the development of health goals in an individualized, person-centered service plan.

• Help youth and families develop and utilize natural supports.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed, utilizing trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation per clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
• Promote, support, and demonstrate MHP’s mission, vision, and values through behavior, job performance and adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in the development and improvement of programs and business processes.
• Work evening and weekend hours.

What We Need:

• Bachelors in a human service field required
• Staff need to be able to work with both kids and adults and be comfortable providing care while caregivers are not there
• Must be 21 years old, have a safe driving record, a current Colorado driver’s license and ability to travel within Boulder and Broomfield Counties.
• Individuals who use their own life experience with mental health/substance use to inspire and support others are encouraged to apply!

Applicants need to be able to travel extended distances including to locations in Jefferson County, Gilpin County, and Clear Creek county.
