Job summary

Clinica is seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related fields (or at least one year of behavioral health experience) to join our mental health team. The role focuses on case management, counseling, and supporting clients in achieving health goals.

You will report to the Program Manager and work on a dynamic team devoted to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and integrated care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field or one year of behavioral health experience
  • Experience with clinical modalities and treatment approaches is a plus
  • Collaborative, client-centered orientation and the ability to manage multiple clients

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Program Manager
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs
  • Provide traditional case management services and supportive counseling
  • Facilitate treatment groups and help clients connect to care
  • Assist with outreach and transportation when needed

Education

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
One-year experience in behavioral health (for non-related Bachelor's degrees)

Job description

  • Pay or shift range: $22 USD to $27.93 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

What we need for this job:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field OR one-year experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor's degrees
  • Experience with clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), other Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT)
  • Collaborative and client centered orientation
  • Manage a caseload of clients and their diverse needs
  • Collaborative team member who is ready to jump in, support our clients and team
  • Community outreach experience and interest, occasional ability to transport clients to connect to care
  • Familiarity with insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid
