Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Bartender to support the F&B Operations Manager with the dining program and events on Marco Island. You will manage daily bar operations, train staff, and assist with catering and special events, while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The position runs Tuesday to Sunday, 12PM–10PM, at $15.00/hour plus 18% auto gratuity, with eligible supplemental benefits for a part-time non-exempt associate.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• At least 1 year kitchen experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of house cocktails, specialty drinks, and bar operations.
• Help servers with alcohol related menu questions.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Assist guests by presenting menus, suggesting cocktails, and explaining chef specials.
• Record orders for bar and kitchen and note dietary needs and special requests.
• Serve and deliver orders from bar and kitchen, provide accompaniments and condiments.
• Maintain table settings and replenish utensils; watch for spills and guest needs.
• Open and pour wine tableside when appropriate.
• Process payments and issue receipts to guests.
