Job summary

Pathfinder Bank is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support operations in a community banking environment. You will handle customer transactions, deposit account servicing, and day-to-day banking tasks while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• 1–3 years of banking experience or cash handling experience.
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
• Basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist other team members.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences, including greeting customers, using their name, and closing interactions with a thank-you phrase while maintaining confidentiality of records.
• Process a variety of retail and commercial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing) accurately and efficiently.
• Promote the Bank’s products and refer customers to appropriate sales personnel; answer routine questions and refer complex inquiries to management.
• Verify endorsements and funds availability; disburse cash and issue receipts; balance daily work according to policy.
• Update customer contact information on an ongoing basis.
• Understand and adhere to risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Proactively assist other branch colleagues and participate in team meetings.
