Job summary

Bonvenu Bank in Hammond, LA seeks a Universal Banker to serve as the primary branch contact, delivering personalized financial solutions and delivering excellent customer service. You will blend teller duties with relationship-building to support local clients and community growth.

The role requires experience in banking operations, customer service, and knowledge of accounts, IRAs, and lending services. Travel within the branch network may be required and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Bookkeeping, Account Services or Universal Banking preferred.
• 2+ years teller experience.
• 1+ year of customer service and opening of retail bank accounts.
• Ability to function productively in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Excellent people skills with high energy level and passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Pro-active approach to offering digital products to customers and online banking setup.
• Open new accounts and services and prepare necessary documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and meet regulatory requirements.
• Consult loan applicants and collect loan applications and financial documentation.
• Assist customers with IRA services and other banking products.
• Perform Teller duties including deposits, checks, and balancing the drawer.
• Assist customers with Interactive teller machines and online banking setup.
• Adhere to applicable federal and state laws and regulations including BSA/OFAC.
