Job summary

VCCU is seeking a part-time, non-exempt team member in Ventura, CA to assist members with various financial transactions and cash handling. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of cash handling experience.

Responsibilities include balancing daily totals, explaining products, and identifying cross-sell opportunities while delivering friendly, empathetic service to members.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ cash handling and customer service experience.
• Experience handling large amounts of cash, balancing totals and resolving discrepancies.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial transactions in person, by telephone, or by mail.
• Responsible for managing cash, including counting cash back to members and balancing daily.
• Deliver solutions to members with empathy and explain products/services.
• Identify referral and cross-sell opportunities based on account history.
