Job summary

East Aurora Co-op Market in New York is seeking an experienced baker to join our Prepared Foods Department and help maintain and grow the co-op’s bakery offerings. You’ll create delicious, wholesome baked goods in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen and contribute ideas with a talented food service team.

This role requires prior commercial baking or pastry experience, a passion for natural foods, and a friendly, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, high-quality baked goods according to established recipes and production standards
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and production standards in a commercial kitchen environment
• Help maintain and expand the Co-op’s bakery offerings through consistent execution and collaboration
• Work collaboratively with team members across food service operations
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and coworkers
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative, and efficient kitchen culture
