Ansell.Law seeks an experienced Community Association Associate Attorney in New Jersey to handle complex HOA/COA matters, advise clients, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide comprehensive legal services.

You will work with a team on disputes, research, and drafting while supporting clients through hearings, arbitrations, and settlements. JD required; NJ/NY bar preferred; 0–3 years’ experience ideal.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active NJ and NY state bar membership.
• 0–3 years of experience in Community Association law.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication, client relations, and negotiation skills.
• Courtroom experience in arbitration, depositions, and motion arguments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Community Association regulations and property law is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist board members and clients in dispute resolution and fee collection.
• Conduct substantial legal research and drafting of documents.
• Guide HOA/COA boards through community governance realities.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex disputes.
• Draft motions, attend depositions, and manage client communications.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and related proceedings.
• Drive settlements and manage multiple cases with strong client service.
• Support practice with timely case management and strategy.
