Neu.Works is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Part-Time Community Associate to be the friendly face of our vibrant co-working space.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our members have an exceptional experience. You'll manage day-to-day operations, foster a strong sense of community, and support the smooth running of our venue. What You'll Do:
- Member Experience & Community Building:
- Warmly greet members and guests, providing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Assist members with their needs, answer questions, and provide information about the venue's amenities and services.
- Provide tours of venue and partner with leadership to hit revenue goals in sales and retention.
- Help onboard new members, ensuring a smooth transition into the community.
- Actively engage with members to build relationships and foster a strong sense of community.
- Support the planning and execution of community events, workshops, and happy hours.
- Operational Support:
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, directing inquiries, and handling mail/packages.
- Ensure the co-working space, including common areas, meeting rooms, and amenities, is clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Assist with clean up when necessary, and communicate with cleaning service to ensure issues are promptly dealt with.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces.
- Troubleshoot basic IT issues (e.g., Wi-Fi connectivity, printer issues) and elevate as needed.
- Process member payments, manage bookings, and update member records.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the venue.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Assist with inventory management of office supplies and beverages.
- Handle general administrative duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in fostering community and supporting a positive work environment.
- Flexibility to work [specify days/shifts, e.g., some evenings or weekends] as needed for events.
