Job description

Our mission is to provide a community that fosters creativity, collaboration and culture within the walls of VariSpace.

At VariSpace, we’ve reimagined the modern workplace—where community, connection, and comfort meet. As a Part‑Time Community Ambassador, you’ll bring the hospitality mindset to our dynamic office environment, helping tenants feel welcome, cared for, and truly at home. This is more than a front desk role—it's about creating memorable experiences, anticipating needs, and setting the tone for every day at VariSpace.

Tenant/Guest Experience

Make a positive impression that will stick with tenants, visitors, and guests of VariSpace by:

  • Be the first face tenants, guests, and visitors see, offering a warm welcome and exceptional service.
  • Own the look, feel, and flow of the lobby area, reception desk, coffee bar, and all common spaces.
  • Support the onboarding of new tenants, ensuring a seamless and friendly first impression.
  • Assist guests and vendors with wayfinding, suite access, and general inquiries.
  • Use your attention to detail to ensure all shared spaces are always clean, inviting, and ready for guests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant concerns or feedback, escalating issues to the Senior Community Manager when necessary while maintaining a calm, solutions‑first approach.
  • Support building‑wide tenant engagement strategies by sharing community updates, promoting upcoming events, and encouraging cross‑tenant interaction.
Operations

Be the eyes of the property, catching problems before our tenants do, and working closely with property management to include:

  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of interior and exterior spaces—identifying issues before they impact the tenant experience.
  • Partner with janitorial, security, and facilities teams to uphold high hospitality standards across the property.
  • Maintain and restock the coffee bar; oversee supply inventory and vendor orders.
  • Coordinate tenant deliveries and loading dock access with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Support leasing tours by providing building insights and delivering an experience that wows.
  • Ability to travel to and cover other VariSpace buildings as needed.
Events

Elevate the meeting room experience by ensuring a smooth process from beginning to end by:

  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants using meeting spaces, ensuring clear communication and top‑tier service.
  • Oversee the full event lifecycle—from initial booking and space planning to setup, execution, and post‑event wrap‑up.
  • Manage reservations, setups, and breakdowns for all meeting and training rooms.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams (janitorial, security, AV, catering) to ensure events run smoothly and professionally.
  • Plan and execute monthly community events that foster connection—staying within budget while delivering high value.
  • Ensure all events run smoothly and reflect the VariSpace standard of hospitality.
