JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports the property management team in achieving occupancy and retention goals through administrative tasks related to leasing, marketing, and customer service at the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform administrative tasks for the leasing office, including copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments and collateral materials.
  2. Assist with sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals by conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, and showing apartments.
  3. Help prepare lease documents and organize resident lease files.
  4. Support move-in and move-out processes, understanding these are mandatory work dates; time off during these periods requires prior approval.
  5. Answer calls and schedule appointments for property tours.
  6. Conduct on-campus marketing outreach to increase community awareness and attract qualified traffic.
  7. Coordinate resident events and activities to enhance resident satisfaction.
  8. Schedule and conduct resident visits, distribute notices, flyers, newsletters, and surveys.
  9. Serve as an after-hours liaison, responding to emergencies within a specified timeframe, with at least one weekly on-call shift.
  10. Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns, taking appropriate action or relaying requests to relevant staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, reaching, and carrying objects.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Lift weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel may be required to support other properties or attend training and meetings.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION

Factors influencing pay include business needs, experience, skills, and location.

  • Corporate positions may be eligible for quarterly or annual bonuses based on performance.
  • Onsite positions may participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly bonus programs.
