The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a Community and Economic Development Research Advisor/Senior Advisor to lead original quantitative research on affordable housing, publish papers, and present insights to stakeholders across the Sixth District.
You will establish an annual research agenda aligned with the department’s mission, collaborate with economists and Bank staff, and mentor analysts while translating research into actionable policy recommendations.

The Atlanta Fed’s Community and Economic Development Department supports the central bank’s mandate of stable prices and maximum employment by helping improve the economic opportunity of low-and moderate-incomepopulationsand underserved placesfor a stronger economy for all Americans.To this end, the Department seeks a Community and Economic Development Research Advisor/Senior Advisortoproduceoriginalquantitativeresearch papersandreports ontopics related toaffordable housing, housing policy,or broader housing dynamicsaffectinglow- and moderate-income populations.
TheAdvisor/Senior Advisor establishesanannual research agendaaligned withtheCommunity and Economic Developmentmission andstrategy;contributes totheBank’s objective ofremaininga knowledge centerfor applied researchby writing;givesspeeches and talksto outside audiences;andcollaborateson research projectswith Community and Economic Development colleagues,research economists, and other Bank staff.
