Job summary

The City of Roseville is seeking an energetic Activity Instructor for the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. This temporary, part-time role is limited to 25 hours per week and may include evenings and weekends.

Instructors are paid per participant or at a minimum of $16.90 per hour, whichever is higher. Minimum qualifications include experience in an appropriate subject area, completion of 11th grade or age 16+, and CPR/First Aid within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Paid or unpaid experience in an appropriate subject area.
• AND
• Equivalent to completion of the eleventh (11th) grade or sixteen (16) years of age.
• License or Certificate: Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and evaluate classes and activities.
• Lead on program development and scheduling.
• Adapt activities to different skill levels and ages.
