Communications Videographer

Pay range: $17.13 - $17.13/hour

Start date: September 2026

JOB PURPOSE

Gain valuable experience in the field of marketing while creating work that represents your school, examines important subjects, and highlights student achievement. This position provides hands‑on videography experience, contributing to marketing, social media, and news stories that support the college’s brand.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Collaborate with the college’s Video and Multimedia Producer and Content Team to create compelling videos.
  • Shoot and edit video content for marketing, social media, and news stories.
  • Interview subjects on‑camera and shoot B‑roll footage to develop a visual and audio narrative.
  • Complete assignments on deadline and track progress using Wrike project management software.
  • Support the college’s brand standards and contribute to goal‑driven video storytelling.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Experience shooting and editing video using a DSLR camera.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and spelling.
  • Creative eye with an understanding of visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and accept feedback and edits.

  • A positive attitude with a willingness to accept edits and feedback.
