You’ll work onsite in a fast-paced communications center supporting the City of Cortez and Montezuma County area. A shift may start with system checks and reviewing updates, then move quickly between call-taking and radio traffic as activity changes. You’ll gather details from callers—sometimes calm, sometimes distressed—and keep information organized as situations evolve. Training is structured: classroom instruction, online modules, and about three months of guided, on-the-job learning to build confidence and consistency.
Salary: $23.57 - $25.01 per hour
