The City of Dallas is seeking a Communications Specialist to create and support content across departments, including websites, publications, and social media. You will ensure messages align with the City brand and ADA requirements while collaborating with multiple offices to support events and programs.

Responsibilities include developing communication plans, managing digital content across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and preparing speeches and memoranda for city leadership.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in communications or a related field with emphasis on social media communication and constituent or stakeholder correspondence.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English or Social Science.
• Ability to edit, review, and ensure content adheres to brand standards and ethics.

Responsabilités

• Support development and implementation of district communication and marketing plans.
• Manage digital content on social platforms and ensure engaging, accurate material.
• Design print collateral aligned with brand standards and ADA requirements.
• Evaluate content performance and gather analytics to guide future efforts.
• Prepare internal and external communications for City employees and residents.
