Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a communications or PR role, a bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s preferred), and a strong writing sample.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field; master's preferred.
• 3–5 years in communications/PR role.
• Must provide writing sample with application.
• Excellent writing/editing/proofreading; adapt tone for audiences and platforms.
• Proficiency in AP style and organizational style guidelines.
• Strong research/analytical skills; translate complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CMS, and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational skills; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create content for press releases, newsletters, social media, speeches, and website copy.
• Develop and distribute memos, newsletters, presentations, and announcements to inform stakeholders.
• Build relationships with media contacts; write press releases and advisories; coordinate press events.
• Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of materials ensuring clarity and brand alignment.
• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure effective communications.
