The Communications Specialist I provides mentorship, correspondence, resource navigation, and reentry preparation support to individuals who are currently incarcerated. Through letters, telephone calls, electronic communication, curriculum, and resource sharing, this role helps participants identify needs, prepare for release, and connect with resources that support successful community reintegration.

This position works primarily in professional office, reentry-services, administrative, and participant-support environments and involves significant correspondence, telephone communication, electronic communication, data entry, and records management. Occasional local travel may be required.
