Caterpillar is seeking a Law, Security & Public Policy Communications Specialist in Irving, TX. You will partner with leaders to shape messaging and drive alignment with business objectives, owning internal communications across multiple platforms.

You will develop strategic plans, write and edit materials, translate complex concepts for internal and external audiences, and embrace technology to engage employees. Travel up to 10% and onsite five days a week.

The Law, Security & Public Policy Communications Specialist will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to shape messaging and drive alignment that supports business objectives and our strategy. In this role, you’ll lead and execute strategic communications initiatives that support division and enterprise priorities. You will own and be responsible for developing, coordinating, editing and planning internal communications across multiple platforms.

Caterpillar’s Law, Security & Public Policy Division (LSPP) includes Global Legal Services, Compliance, Global Trade, Global Security and Global Government & Corporate Affairs.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with global internal stakeholders and advise on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts through communication plans and strategies.
• Ownership of division communications vehicles, which includes writing, editing and distributing internal materials such as newsletters, websites, employee meetings, etc.
• Create content for employee communications channels, ensuring that messaging and branding are consistent across all channels. Content will range from articles and videos, to interviews, Q&A, infographics and presentations.
• Develop, own and execute comprehensive communications plans, including messaging and materials that inform, inspire and align employees to business strategy and customer objectives.

What You Will Have:

• Multimedia Technologies: Knowledge of multimedia publishing technologies and procedures; ability to use installed audio, visual and animation software tools to produce multimedia publications.

• The primary location for this position is Irving, TX.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
