Corporate Communications & Content

Primary Skills: Business Writing Editing Message Development Quality Control

  • Draft, edit, proofread, and deliver polished communications for employees, executives, external audiences, events, and business initiatives.
  • Turn complex, technical, or incomplete stakeholder input into clear, audience-appropriate messaging with the right tone, channel, and level of detail.
  • Own assigned communications from intake through drafting, review, approval, publication, and follow-up, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain consistent standards for grammar, formatting, brand alignment, confidentiality, and overall communication quality.
  • Support the Crisis Management Team from a communications perspective, helping develop timely messaging, coordinate approvals, assess communication needs, and maintain consistency during incidents or emerging issues.
Employee Engagement, Events, & Campaigns

Primary Skills: Employee Communications Storytelling Engagement Campaign Support Event Execution Collaboration

  • Develop communications that help employees understand company priorities, recognize teams and accomplishments, and feel connected to the organization.
  • Identify and develop employee, field, technology, community, and culture stories for internal and external channels.
  • Support companywide engagement programs, recognition efforts, charitable initiatives, awareness campaigns, and culture-building activities.
  • Recommend practical ways to improve participation, visibility, and employee experience through stronger messaging, timing, and channel use.
  • Help plan and execute large-scale employee events and initiatives, including communications, promotion, materials, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
  • Step in where needed, respond quickly to shifting priorities, and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality execution.
  • Develop presentations, campaign materials, marketing communications, and other content that support leadership and business priorities.
Project Management & Stakeholder Partnership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, social media, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, organization, and attention-to-detail skills, with demonstrated ability to produce polished work under deadline.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple assignments independently, solve problems, follow through, and deliver work quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Experience developing content for multiple audiences and channels, including employee communications and corporate social media.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with leaders, creative partners, technical teams, business stakeholders, and employees at different levels and locations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; working knowledge of Canva, social publishing tools, approved AI tools, or similar technologies is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in energy, oilfield services, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, technology, or another technical business environment.
  • Experience supporting executive communications, companywide employee engagement initiatives, corporate events, or integrated campaigns.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars, publishing workflows, basic analytics, and creative briefs.
  • Demonstrated progression in responsibility, strong professional judgment, and potential to grow into broader communications strategy or leadership responsibilities.
