Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a Communications Security Operator (Dispatcher) to join our North America Operations Center. You will monitor security systems, coordinate responses, and ensure high levels of safety for people and assets.

The role requires a Texas security license and prior security/customer service experience. The position is 3rd shift (Thu-Mon 10:00pm-6:00am) with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to work nights.
• Experience in security and customer service preferred.
• Ability to monitor security systems and respond quickly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
• Watch CCTV for unsafe conditions, unauthorized access, and faults.
• Dispatch security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
• Manage calls and alerts via internal comms systems and weather alerts.
• Document incidents accurately in security reporting platforms.
• Follow SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Use radios, intercoms, telephones, PA systems, and computer software professionally.
• Operate badge software, enabling/disabling badges.
• Provide security support for client projects and events.
• Enforce client access policies for client properties.

Marksman Security Corporation is Now Hiring for a Communications Security Operator

$20.00 per hour

3rd Shift

Thursday thru Monday 10:00pm - 6:00am

Security Operations Center Experience is Required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Join our growing North America Operations Center (NAOC) team as a Dispatcher, where you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, assets, and operations in North America.

You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, dispatching response personnel, and coordinating emergency communication — 24/7/365.

The site is a Headquarters location and will require the highest level of professionalism, customer service, technology skills, and high-quality candidates with excellent work ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
• Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
• Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
• Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
• Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
• Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
• Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
• Provide security support for various client projects and events.
• Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Previous security experience is required
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
